I have a doctor's appointment to go over my liver biopsy results this week. What information should I be looking to get from my doctor?
Ain't it so wonderful about life?? here, you saw your grandpa's bait and tackle on some boat and you were totally grossed out...and one day youre grandson will be totally grossed out by your bait and tackle splayed out on some rocket ship (gotta always remember to wear the extra long shorts)...and on and on it goes...
What I hated in college was sitting on the steps doing my homework or whatever....and invariably there'd be some slob in bermuda shorts or something that would come and sit next to me with his legs open...and then this smell would come wafting up....ughhhh!!!! doncha just hate that!!!!
okay, now I'm grossing myself out, I'm going to bed...
so sorry youre having these problems, I assume youre on treatment?... yeah, like you need this huh? Anyway, all I can share is there was a time I was in a bad relationship, who hasn't been in one?? and all I can say is, as bad as it was to get over it, it was infinitely better then staying in the relationship, and I'm so, so glad it ended and I went on from there...whether you get back together or it ends, hopefully you'll come to a good decision for yourself...one thing I do know, this life is short, better to spend it with someone who really enjoys being with you and supports you as a person...imho
yeah, who knows? maybe some of us will meet up one day, some here already have, best of luck to you...come back often....
first let me tell you how much I envy you that you have horses...seems like a few people on here do...as far as the tossed jewels, wow...my sister's horses came already guilded...I've often thought if these male OBGYN's were given these options themselves, would they be so quick to recommend hysterectomies to us gals? Just a thought...
Same as friole. 1.5 viral load, mild fibrosis (biopsied) and my enzymes / liver function has always been within the normal ranges. See a specialist. I'm a genotype 1A and treating for second round and on shot 17 of 48. Seems to be doing the trick. Cross your fingers. Good luck to you and stay in touch with the board. If you can't find knowledge I guarantee you can find comfort. Ha! Dale
Wheres that trouble making beagle at? Me and goof keeps things on the up and up here. Then beagle stirs things up. Still wonder where he is though.
I know I was wondering too - when one of our little wandering troupe of vagabond's goes missing it's too obvious, especially when it's a BeagleBailey ;-)
When is he going to let us know how high his hgb is?
BaileyLover where are you????? We might not be a bunch of dogs but we love you too!
How did your first shot go? Hope your doing ok.
I'm not as "blonde" as you think I am. But, both tops down would certainly save me some time in taking away the guess work!
hey watch out for that Can Man, catch that post to us AND Jim, about "driving home" or some shite? think he's been in the woods too long with Riba...
Goof: was just askin about the granpa shorts to see if the boys were playing peeky-boo under the hem....
Just had to catch that didn't ya? No wonder you call yourself forseegood. "And after i was sticking up for you". And was also on your side saying they don't sag.
just teasin you Canny boy, know you are as straight as route 66....
Thats why i said i was "sticking up for you"
thread hijack: speaking of whippets, we never heard out here in the boondocks if they found the westminster whippet.......have yall heard?
just got my exercise for the day, bathing the sheltie cause she has to go to town tomorrow night for her first obedience class....
yeah, I was wondering about that poor boy too, sure hope they found em...the only thing good about not finding him is if someone thought they could provide him a good home and keep him, one could always hope...
sure glad that you are taking your doggie to class, wish everyone would get their doggies trained...I help train my friend's dogs too bad youre not around here...ya have to watch those goofy breeds though...
I here ya forseegood, but there are dogs that are their strictly for entertainment value....I also have a smooth fox terrier. Could buy all the books in the world, school wouldn't do a bit of good for her,
and then there are those "canny" ones, that all they think about is..... but snip snip, and they are again loving companions,,,,,,,,,, old goat ... huh?
Me thinks youre on to somethin Fishy Girl...he he he....
just thought I'd point out to you I have a post to you down there, thread is "Just Ran Across 1b's" I think...just saying this cause sometimes I don't always go down the threads and I miss messages to me...
Hey goofy, after the purple, jewel encrusted eggplant horror story--- well hell, I have always believed in better living through chemistry... I bought dulcolax!
Yeah forseegood, it was always interesting when it was time to cut a colt. Both boys and hubby line up and watch (after all they are my horses!!), but when the vet (and they always do this!!) throws those jewels to the dogs...... they always lose a shade of color....and go just a little green. I guess it is just the thought..
My liver enzymes have always been in range but my pre-treatment viral load was 1.52 million IU/mL. I do have mild liver damage, which Jim suggests may be the case with low enzymes. In any event, it's all specultation without a liver biopsy to determine damage. I hope you are considering one.
good luck to you
Hey mine are guilded too. Sure do glow nice in the sun, but what a b!tch at the airport metal detectors!
was just askin about the granpa shorts to see if the boys were playing peeky-boo under the hem....
Well, gravity is everyone's enemy, isn't it. Lil'Goof and I may be wearing kilts to a family wedding this summer, and well, let's just say I shouldn't pick the mini. And that restriction is for all the wrong reasons. Sadly, this forum doesn't have the kind of support I'll need.
Man, I was about 12 when I saw my Grad Dads hanging out of a ripped swim suit and laying out on a rowboat seat. Ewwwww.... like someone skinned a chicken and left the skin on the seat.
Thanks for the post. I had more lovely ACV, and took your advice on the straight shot washed down by juice. I still have to say "uck" but intend to keep on taking it. I bought mine in the organic section of the grocery. Non pasteurized from organically grown apples. I did know better than to get the distilled! I figure if I can add one good habit and subtract one bad habit every few weeks, I will be super woman by the time I finish treatment!
Have a great evening, and thanks for the info - you are the NUTRITIONAL BOMB!
I read a recent study suggesting that lots of us with HEP C who think we have normal enzymes really don't. We just fall in the normal range of the tests (which are based on a population of all sorts of people).
In fact, lots of folks in the "normal range" end up with falling enzyme levels over treatment and, if SVR, stay that way.
So far, mine have dropped from the high normal range to around 15/16 (with one week up to around 20). (I'm week 13/24).
