Newbie

Just a hello to all you guys on the board. I just found out a few weeks ago I'm Gen 2B, supposed to start 24 weeks of treatment soon. Have been reading some of the comments and trying to psych myself up for it! My best to all.

Researchmonkey326, Screaming48 - Thanks, I'm sure I'll find good info here even if I don't post much.
Vannh9 - I hope you will turn out to be a 2 also. 24 weeks seems plenty long, much less 48 weeks with the more common genotypes.

One thing that is odd is that some people say the first few treatments are the hardest, others say they get worse as you go along...

just remember when you start treatment the most important thing you can do is drink LOTS of water.  it really helps with the sx.  good luck to you and welcome to the forum.  belle

That is what I have heard. Doesn't all that water keep you up all night (or day in my case) running to the bathroom during treatment?
