I know of this guy, he's got a great reputation. I'm so happy with UCSD in every way. Online test results, responsiveness, etc. They're got it going on...
If I have to have this disease at least I have had a great Dr. to take care of me.

In 1993 my liver enzymes were slightly elevated, I was tested 3 different times for Hep C all came back negative
In 2006 I started developing red dots all over my lower legs, went to a GI, foot doctor and dermatologist. They all said this was normal and that people got it and they did not know why. Then in 2007 my platelets came back low.
I was sent to an Oncology/Hemotologist, he noticed all the signs and tested me. It turned out the spots were cryoglobulinemia, my body fighting Hep C Finally! A result and explanation. I think anyone can miss it.
I am looking for a doc in Virginia, thank you very much
Have a great day!
Dee
I am taking all the names here in case
I've been seeing Gabriel Garcia, M.D., at Stanford Hospital & Clinics since I was first diagnosed with hepatitis in 1986. He's a hepatologist, a transplant surgeon, a Professor of Medicine at Stanford Medical School and an active researcher. He's always up on whatever is new in the world of hepatitis treatment, and he is a kind and caring person. As a bonus, he posts my test results online for me and he answers emails promptly. He can be reached at the Stanford Liver Clinic, at 650-723-6961.
Dr. Everson was my doc too. I was a g2, no trial just good old Inf and Riba.
