In order for us to answer a question we need to know then a number.
When you say 'bilirubin', which type of bilirubin are you speaking of?
Total bilirubin? Indirect bilirubin? Direct bilirubin?
41 what? mg/dL or mmol/L?
0.3-1.0 mg/dL or 5.0-17.0 mmol/L are about the normal levels for most labs.
There is a huge difference between what a '41 level' means on these two measurement scales.
Why was the test performed?
Do you have Jaundice? Yellowing of the eyes and skin?
What does the doctor who performed these tests say?
What other blood tests were performed?
What other tests results were abnormal?
Thanks
Hector
Do you have HCV?
At any rate consult with a Hepatologist to see why this test was high>
Best of luck
