I think Neosporin would be fine as long as you're not getting it into your mouth, although even a drop of it if it worked itself into your mouth probably wouldn't hurt you any. I've found that with my treatments that when my white cells drop, I usually get the mouth corners cracking/splitting. I don't know why that is, but it seems to happen in me when the white cells get low. I rarely if ever get those outside of treatment.

When I started trt I noticed my lips were very dry and sometimes pealing in small areas. I drank lots of water to stay hydrated, so this wasn't this issue. I began to carry chapstick lipbalm, applied it several times during the day and it made a big difference. Since I was also in the FL sun, I used one with an spf15 to help block the sun.
Also, as Susan mentioned, watch your wbc and anc for low levels and risk of infection.
Try this: Lansinoh. It is an industrial strength lanolin balm used by breastfeeding mothers. Apply it 3-4 times in 24 hours, and you'll be on your way to feeling a lot better.
Don't laugh but I saw a thread a while back that said Vagisil worked wonders for the corners of the mouth. Good luck, Billy, you seem to be having a time of it. My experience has been that it comes in waves - I had a few really bad weeks and then it eased up some. Now I have an entirely new set of sx but after the rash experience, everything feels minor. Just hang in there and use whatever help you can - I am not above trying anything a doctor approves (or not) if it is going to help me get through this.
Gotta admit, I tried the Vagisil. It worked. I'm not sure where the idea came from, but it did help.
