Yep, same here. I use a moisturizer, but maybe not often enough?? Mine seems to be getting a little better now that the summer temps have dropped some. Good luck to you as you begin trt.
Hi there. I actually had crocodile skin on my calves before tx, even though I drank plenty of water. Try a hydrating/mosturizing body wash or one with an exfoliant (Dove has one), and don't have the shower water super hot. Then finish up with a good lotion. I started using Gold Bond Medicated Lotion (in the green bottle) for the RIBA rash, and have continued with it because it feels good and my skin looks better. Eucerin is good too but for starters, try the Gold Bond and see if that helps you. Best to you! Oh, and don't forget to drink a ton of water EVERY day during tx.
The Gold Bond (actually I used the Wal Mart copy because it is cheaper) helped my skin a LOT! My doctor also recommended that not take a shower every day. It sounds horrible, but the oil and sweat glands underproduce so much, that there wasn't a problem for me and it gave my skin a chance to at least get a little benefit from the natural oils.
At 7 months Post tx all of my skin is back to normal except my feet... they are still just as dry, and itch on the bottoms if I forget lots of lotion after a shower.

Hi, I use Aveeno soap and lotion daily to help with the dry skin. Let your trial team know what is happening as they will want to help get this under control right away. I had the Riba rash in Week 1 and team looked at it and said to use hydrocortisone cream and then moisturize with Aveeno to get rid of it - it worked. Also, keep hydrated as this helps to keep the skin moist. Remember, if you drink coffee, then you need more water. Keep us posted. Keeping good thoughts for you.
