Hi there. You should begin the ribavirin the same day as your first shot, so that would be tomorrow morning. I got confused my first day as well. I had to call a nurse, regarding my first shot, only to find out, I should have started the ribavirin that morning.
Good luck to you. Also, I preprinted calendars and this kept me on track for all my lab dates.

I started my Ribavirin the day of my first shot as well. Ha I made the same mistake as 1swimmer above. I had a handout that said I was to take my first dose of meds that morning and we would administer my shot together on my appointment that afternoon. Plus I checked the voice mail later in the week and there was a message reminding me to do start my meds that Friday morning.
I am **pretty sure the dosing is the same for your four week Interferon/Ribavirin lead in. Hopefully others will chime in or post a link that specifies this just to be on the safe side. :)
Ideally, I also believe you should start Riba on the same day as your shot, but does it matter with this minor difference? I went to the docs office late afternoon for the first Inf shot to go over everything including the injection, then began the Riba the next day. I understand all the confusion with our heads swimming with all this new and complicated information. It is stressful to say the least. And I know we want to every we can to make sure we get a und on the first PCR.
More importantly, make sure you don't miss any doses and have your PCR's done at the proper time. Your doctor's office might not remember, so make a calendar as 1swimmer suggested to keep you on time. Also, be sure to use a daily pill container to keep track of your dosing. Good luck to you and hope you nail it this round.
The most important ont to remember to take (after your 4 week lead in, of Riba and Interferon) is the Boceprevir. You have to take it every 8 hours,on the dot.
My Doctor had me start taking my Riba every 8 hrs, to get me used to the "every 8 hr schedule" which did work well.
I treated (successfully) with Boceprevir, and I can remember my first Interferon shot, but not the first time I took the Riba.
Like the others above have said, the Riba isn't as important, time-wise, as long as you take it daily, as it stays in the system twice as long as Interferon.
It will be fine, to take your Riba pills the morning of your shot, the two are always to be taken in conjunction with each-other~ good luck!
