My doc allowed a PCR at EOT, 3 months and 6 months.  I haven't thought about the 12 months, but suppose that is advised also.  Much of this depends on whether in a trial or what your insurance and doctor allows.

As pooh mentioned, I continued monitoring the cbc's until my ANC was back in range for several weeks.

You will have the end of treatment viral load and then another viral load 6 months after end of treatment. Some docs do a 3 month VL too.

I will also have a complete blood count and a liver function panel at 6 months post end of treatment.

If your labs have been abnormal (low hemoglobin or white count or abnormal thyroid) then they will probably want to check those labs sooner.

It would be ideal to be tested at 4 weeks post, 12 weeks and 24 weeks. Though some doctors wait to do at at 12 and 24 weeks post. Then there is some like ann61 doctor that wait for the 24 week test.... Myself I couldn't wait that long as 4 and 12 weeks is really a good sign as far as SVR goes..

Best to you.

I have 47/48 down.  My doctor said that I will be tested when done, at 24 weeks, and at 52 weeks.  Good luck and best wishes for svr.

i'm in a clinical trial.  i reached EOT 2 weeks ago.  i will have blood work at 1 month, 2 months later and finally 3 months after that (hopefully that's when i get SVR!).  i was watched frequently during the 48 weeks.  good luck with your last weeks.  belle
