finished 72/72

I thought I should post on this side since I haven't in some time. It was a life saver for me in the begining and throughout my tx. I just completed my last injection of 72 weeks. I am excited and scared also but I know I gave it my best possible shot. I wish all txing the best and SVR....This forum is a wonderful place for information and sharing tx issues. I am so glad I came across it. I want to give you all big HUGS for all the help and support...:)shelly

Wow! 72 weeks is a long endurance race, and you did it, you crossed the finish line!!!!  I barely drug myself across the line at 32 weeks. You long distance txers are amazing. Now, plan something special for yourself. The best thing I did was have a masseuse come to the house and rub away the surface tension of tx. It really did help me.
Sending you huge hugs and fragrant flowers from cyberspace,   OH

Well, you know, I am a 72 weeker, so I still got some time to go. But I am doing fine (considering), shot 40 tomorrow. I know you have gone through so much, so I am just holding my thumbs for you, as we say in my language!

Thank you for asking, Zazza.
Next week I'll have my 12 weeks post tx lab. results... so will see...

But I feel great (of course, with a few bad days between many good days)!

I stopped my thyroid meds two months ago (I started taking it while on my second year of treatment) - the stupidest part that I did it without Dr's approval, since I could not convince him that I felt very hyper.  Now I hope that my blood test results will confirm that I don't these drugs anymore.

How are you holding up?? Your finish line should be close.

All the best and SVR to you and everybody!!
