Dizzy S/o on treatment

I am only 8 days away from finishing my 12 week treatment

very dizzy do nit know if it is a side effect, never had it before

i ate something thinking it was low blood sugar, but it has not helped, happened to me yesterday too

i felt fine this am before pills, so it must just be building up in me I guess?

i am undetected 4+ 8 weeks

so I will rest and finish

just wondered if anyone else was dizzy?

thanks CH

Thanks Kim, your comments are encouraging in that what we are going through is not out of the norm. It explains some of the emotions I have been going through. Sadness, resentment, crying during movies, must be the Riba. Brain fuzziness is increasing too, but what is getting me through is knowing the end is really close. Just hope these meds are doing a good job mopping up any stray viruses. I know my friend who went through chemotherapy was sickest at the end, so I figure this is similar. This is so worth it, and you are right, it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't do it again. But I hope these meds live up to the hype, and we who complete them, do achieve SVR. Sandi

Kim thank you so much for sharing, it makes me feel so good to know this is "normal" and that I can make it, and that there is a rainbow at the end =three weeks out :-))

Yes I don't want to scare anyone either because these are doable meds for only 12 weeks, that actually cure the disease , but I am crying and tired allot and dizzy, and it want like this all the way thru , just towards the end

7 days to go!

So in two or three weeks I hope to feel as good as you do now, thank you again for your post and sharing with me

Hi guys.     Finished almost 3 weeks ago.   Solv/Ribv.     12 weeks.    Haven't wanted to share to much about the last couple of weeks of treatment as to not put unnecessary thoughts in your head.    After reading some of your issues and concerns, thought I should give you a heads up as to what personally my experience was.    Know everyone is different so many may not go thru this.    It was for me not pleasant.     Dizzy( had to hold on as to not faint), so exhausted and hard to get outta bed, insomnia, no appetite, depression, emotionally all over the place, crying jags, thoughts were jumbled, angry (RIBA), ready to quit.    I'm a very rational and happy go lucky person, and this was so out of character for me.   Have a great life and not a stressed out individual.   Here comes the good new.....I feel great 3 weeks post treatment.    My hmg was low and doc said about 2 weeks for some real recovery from that.    So happy I did treatment, would do it again, grateful for access to the drugs, and so worth the journey.   For me the last few weeks were the hardest.    Every day now is a new beginning, and am ready for new adventures to explore. You are so close to the finish line, and we are so very lucky to live in a time where hep c will be a disease of the past.        ..Kim

Really 6 months on the sun?, I never saw that would be a drag, oh maybe that is RIBA and olysio combined
I wonder what olysio is alone

I give live with these SE for 8 more days no problem
I was just hoping it was nothing to be alarmed about

Dizzy, leg soreness and blurry vision
Oh well if as bad in am as is now I guess I will call md and run it by them
But Sandi I thank you soooooooo much!

I was told it is a by product of red blood cell destruction that happens in the process of destroying the virus, caused by the meds. I can certainly feel it in my legs. My appetite is real off and on, but we are on different Tx, I am on the Sovaldi, Interferon, and Ribavirin. But I find I do better if I keep eating. Sugary stuff doesn't agree with me at all though. It is good to read these meds will be out our systems in a short time, I was told it can take a month to six months to recover from the Sx, especially sun sensitiviy. Everyone is different.

Thank you sooooooooo much hapsandi

I was hoping it was the meds, fatigue has been a constant but the dizzy is new
And funny you mention lactic acid
At night my thighs hurt( and I am not exercising though) like my muscles in my quads hurt

I drink allot of water, I guess maybe not enough

And I have been real hungry one day stranding, and the next completely stuffed?

And I am not on RIBA
But it is good to know you and someone else has this too

What do you think the lactic acid is building up  ?

I am 4 days from finishing also, and have found the last 2 weeks have been hard, very tiring, brain is very fuzzy, like my body is just saturated with these meds, like my blood levels are all out of whack.Finding I am needing to eat more often, keep remembering to drink water. One of the people on this forum who just finished said she thought the last 2 weeks were tough too. Hang in there, we are both almost done. Your hemoglobin level may be dropping, I know mine is, plus lactic acid is building up too.
