hi Scruplus
thank u again
u r online i have seen
"sun or heat or sweatning can enhance, strengthen HCV".
I agree with that. I am not on tx but I notice if I stay in the sun for an hour or so it will zap the energy right out of me. So for obvious reasons I stay out of the sun.
fret
Correction:
pls read my statement as ''
Moreover during treatment (tx) ribavirin especially and interferone lower down your blood count levels ( Hgb+RBC+WBC) and a laborious physical ctivity ( resulting in sweats) make you feel tired and exhausted but again sun or heat or sweatning CANNOT enhance or strengthen HCV. "
I somewhat agree with alijee.
Sun, heat or sweating can effect you before treatment like it can effect any other healthy person and nothing more than that. HCV patients donot feel worse or their disease donot progress due to heat.
However, when you are on interferone +Riba treatment , you get de-hydrated due to medicine's side effects ( thats why its recomended to increase intake of water during treatment) and in that case sun and sweating effects you very much as you get exhausted very soon. your skin become sensative during treatment and direct sun rays feel you irritating and in some cases people develop skin rashes due to sun ( but not all, as me as well as all infected persons on treatment in pakistan to whome i met during my treatment , there were no rashes etc). During treatment some people feel better under normal sunlight ( not scorching of course) as you feel cold during treatment especially on injection night.

Hope this will answer your & other's fears. More if you are thinking about starting treatment then make friendship with sweating coz it will be your companion for treatment period.
im also from pak. These are the stories and there is no relation between hot season and virus.
Are you on treatment? If so it can make you sun sensitive. Wear sunscreen and protective clothing and you should be fine.
