today i have been diagnosed with hep. c im 25 years old and im scared
I am in my last 3 weeks of treatment and I can't remember exactly when I started feeling depressed, but it was about 6 months into treatment and the rage is horrible too, especially when I have PMS. I just started taking antidepressants my doctor prescribed and I am sorry I didn't start taking them sooner. I got all the side effects but they were all managable, I worked a full time job and still managed to work out, by a little running, swimming, cycling and weight training. Some days are better than others and other days I can hardly get out of bed. If you drink plenty of water, get lots of rest, eat healthy and exercise this will help treament go smoother and easier.
Crushie
Yes it does. I do not have any pain
… it is only 6 month post treatment…I cannot call myself SVR yet.
Yeah I was kinda wondering that myself, anybody else feel real good for about 2 weeks after TX then start to get depresed?
Sustained Viral Response = SRV Meaning your virus is no longer detected in your system. They don't like to use the word "cured" because there is no guaranty that the virus won't come back. Typically after 24 weeks of SRV should mean you have cleared the virus meaning you are cured.
what is SVR? I'm sure it means hep c is gone but what does it actually stand for
svr 2 yrs, still have gi issues, but upper rt quadrant pain gone. Good luck
