Delay treatment and watch patients die?

I know, alarming headline, right?

But this study demonstrates that delayed treatment increases one's chance of dying from liver disease significantly and exponentially

Everyone with Hep C should be treated

So sorry for your loss, Kim. I hope your uncle's passing was peaceful and he was not in pain

When someone's cause of death is listed as liver cancer, it lets Hep C off the hook because people don't see the connection

You take care of yourself

Alarming Headline?   You bet.  Alarming but unfortunately true!
Listen friends, you don't want to fool around with this baby.  Haven't been on the last few days as Ive just lost an uncle to this *******.  His cause of death was Metastatic Liver Cancer from this virus.
Must admit this past year or so when I've seen others relapse I literally feel sick to my stomach as I know the manifestations of this disease. Typically it's not the Hep C itself that ruins lives,  rather the Hepatic fallout from the destruction it creates.
Get tested, get treated. Those that have relapsed especially need to treat again. We now have a cure.
