I have heard that myrr is good for mouth sores, bought some am going to try it if it works I will let you know. It will be a great find for everyone, if it works...Dr. Oz says he uses it for,mouth sores,ulcers an mostly every thing oral. Having to do, with the mouth, and gums. Didn't you use tinactin  for angular chillitis, the sores at the corners of your mouth ? I don't think your supposed to use it inside your mouth.

Did Dr give you nystatin mix aka miracle mouth wash? My mouth was a mess n it helped.

I have never used myrr but I am going to guess that it will be too strong for your taste buds too.  I went through a spell a few months ago where I could not tolerate the taste of mint -- and try to find a toothpaste without.

I must have bought 5 types of toothpaste in a month, none of which helped although Sensedyne was probably the easiest to tolerate.  I am currently using some kind or pasty stuff from the heath food store that tastes like anise and is brown (kind of gross).  

Do you need some antibiotic to clear up the sores?

At least you are almost done.  I hope your mouth heals up quickly.

I can't use biotene I have tried it burns my mouth to badly. I have to use a kids strawberry toothpaste an that still burns a little.  I am hopeing  the myrr will stop all this I have tried everything. God bless us all.

I think there is, or at least there used to be, a Tom's of Maine toothpaste with myrrh in it. If the myrrh helps then that toothpaste might help too. I've found Biotene mouthwash 2x daily helps a lot, and I carry Biotene chewing gum in my purse to use when the mouth sores flare up. Good luck!
