not a question

Finished incevik almost 2weeks ago and now just looking to get through the last 10 or so weeks of R.and I. My doc sez they are starting to find that people who have a hard time tolerating Ribavirin have better results. Anyways glad it's down hill from here. I was quite lucky I guess never suffered the rash and such. Just got anemic. They are now giving me neuprogin twice a week to get white blood cell count up. Anyways to all a very politically incorrect Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Congrats on making it through the first 14 weeks with no rash and itches.  Hope the remaining 10 wks go well for you and sounds like they will.  You may still have some rough days on Inf/Riba.  I'm also on neupogen 2x/wk and seem to tolerate it well.   Merry Christmas to you and best of luck down the road.

Sounds familar. I started Incivek on 2 Sept, finished on Nov 23.
No side effects at all until the last thirty days, then developed mild rash on legs/back...under control now.
Finish on Feb 13.
The Interferon/Ribavirin are being used to prevent, "viral blowback", or eliminating any virus that somehow survived, also to prevent the virus from becomming immune.
In furture meds Interferon/Rib will not be used, only pills. Side effects will be mild headache. Also will have 95% SVR response with duration of three months, (due to be on market in 3-5 years)
