one riba pill to much

hello

tonight i was not sure i took my two riba pills.so i took an extra pill,as i thought better 3 or 1 than zero.
is this o.k because i really cant remeber, normally i have my daily pill box but today i was busy and took right out of the bottle.
i also ask as i had/have anemia problems but with the epo my hgb stays around 10.
so can this extra pill some problems, with my anemia.
this defenetly will no more happen.

I can't count the pills back because they are in a bottle with around 200 pills.
so i put every evening my daily dose on a small box so i can see I took my dose.
just yesterday i was busy and forgot to put my daily dose in the box.and in the evening I was no more sure I took my 2 pills or not.
this morning i took my usual 2 pills.
I was just worried about my anemia, but i think one time one pill to much will make no problems as iam anyway On epo and my hgb is stable.

To help make sure this doesn't happen again, relying on the pill case is your best tool.  I set up my pill case for the week, then refilled it at the end of each week.  I carried it with me everywhere I went, so I would not miss a dose.  Do not slack off using the pill case, even if you are at home all day.  Take your pills in the same place (kitchen, dining room, etc.) every day, if possible.  That will help you remember.  Plus, if you have an alarm or an email alert, don't turn them off until you have swallowed the pills.  Once you fall into a routine, you will feel more confident.

Make things easy on yourself.  This is a difficult process but Refuse to give in to the stress.  Breathe and tell yourself you can get through this.  Wishing you the best.

I have done it too and called the pharmacist. You'll be ok.

Like flcy said, a pill box is the only way to go. I can't tell you how many times I checked the box, thinking I hadn't taken them before.
Go buy one now. They are cheap and easy :)

can you count the rest of your riba pills to see if you have the right amount left?

I've had to do that a few times to be sure.  After counting so many pills left in the bottle I was convinced to rely only on the pill box and not on my memory with all the brain fog.

Hi Rexx: If I took an extra riba pill it wouldn't bother me. Run it by your doctor if you are really concerned about it. V/r, GB
