I know "Pig-Latin"
Which I hear tell translates into Spanish as;
"The Language Of The Hog"
Does That Count as making me Bi-Lingual?
My Dad went to high school in Mexico; one year in San Louis Potosi, and one year in Guadalajara. Between him and the guys I work with in Cali construction, I actually get by OK. Not exactly conversant, but I'm able to get around fairly well as a tourist, anyway. I'm down here right now letting the storm clouds subside. Cindy and Phil have an incredible amount of patience putting up with this cr@p- they deserve medels for their tolerance... Catch up with you soon, Cuteus;
Bill

Woah, Chev-do I _look_ like Julie Andrews? Put your glasses on, gal!! You did pique my interest, though... magic carpets sound like fun. Can I fly one on dial-up?

I have been on alinia since May 15th. I am a type 1 relapser.It is making me very nervous because I started with a 1 million VL and now have a 6 million VL. My alt and ast were normal for 4 years post treatment with peg and riboviron and now they are elevated. My doctor added amantidine and wanted to add riboviron but the insurance company won't go for it. No side effects except very yellow urine. I just hope this dr. doesn't put me into liver failure.My next VL won't be until Aug. 18 then seems to take him 2 weeks to get results. He is talking about ordering ribo and peg so that insurance will ok but why even continue alinia if you do that? Anyone else out there doing this?
I'm sorry to learn that you need a new liver. I have not tried Alina nor do I know anyone who has, aside from a poster or 2 here who've mentioned it. I assume you've spoken with your transplant people about this approach but if you haven't I would suggest that you do. I treated with Peg and ribavirin and reached SVR after a lengthy treatment. By the way, I got my liver in June of 2000 in case you didn't know that I too am a transplant recipient. I feel for you and wish you the best luck possible both in clearing HCV and getting a new liver. Mike
I really do not know. I plugged in Mike and maybe he will have an answer for you.e
hope youre troubles resolve for the better soon..if you go to Janis there are , maybe 5 people? using it there, with varying results...fraid the jury is still out, cause that's not really enough of a pool to tell one way or another for my money...but at least you can get "some" info there as to real expereinces...
