relapse question

by floppy, May 16, 2002 12:00AM
We all know that there are some people with 1b, who show negative at week 12. In this case doctors recomand to go 36 more weeks of treatment (total of 48)
My question is:

Anybody heard of patients who cleared the virus at week 12, then stopped treatment and later on still showed negative to virus (or had no relapse)?

In other words, is it possible (on an individual base of course) to stop at week 12 and still show negative later?
How likely is this scenario? Very likely? Not at all? Somewhat likely?

Thank you
