Haven't had any removed on triple therapy but if it growing fast I'm sure
the doctor will take a piece of it. I don't know if it will compromise your
immune system or not on treatment. There is always a chance that
the growth can be cancer and yes if it was.... I wouldn't wait. I have had
cancer, had moles, growths and anything that looks like it might be cancer
removed. I wouldn't hesitate having a growth removed like that on hep c
treatment. But thats just my experience and what I would do.

Thanks Cheppie, I appreciate your advice. I will have it looked at and make it a priority.
There are several benign growths that can occur on the skin. If it is an unusual shape and color, I'd be a bit concerned. Otherwise, talk to your treating doc and dermatologist. If your white blood cell count is extremely low, there might cause some concern for infection, but discuss that with your docs.
I've had a few seborrheic keratoses pop up, but they were no concern and easily removed.

Thanks, I'm hoping its just seborrheic keratoses but who knows. Thanks for the advice
I think I will go for it. It has been bugging me for a few weeks now. So on top of everything else I get this ugly thing on the side of my face. . I am hoping he can remove it without to much concern. I know my wbc are low but they are not going to get higher until I complete treatment which is about 6 more months. Thanks again
I am guessing (just guessing) that it ought to be OK to have the spot evaluated and excised (or whatever). I never saw a Derm on a regular basis until last time I treated and I ended up getting lots of little things done over the years. I say go for it !! :) :)
