Pre tx, I found my enzymes went down on a low-fat, lower protein diet and went up on a higher-fat, higher protein diet. Strenuous exercise also seemed to elevate my enzymes.
Not sure how much of this applies *post* treatment, but if it were me, I'd get a sensitive qualitative TMA like Quest Diagnostic's
HCV RNA Qualitative TMA to rule out the very slight chance of relapse.
Also, not sure what your pre-tx fibrosis level was, but as a stage 3, my doctor advised me to alternate ultrasounds with CAT scans every six months with an occasional MRI thrown in. You might ask your doctor about that as well.

Excercise can do it alone...I just saw your response, so wanted to chime in..
One of the things my Dr advised me as to a culprit of mine, was the fact that I excercise frequently. Muscle cells die, and regenerate. Heavy weightlighting, accelerates this.
Get a PCR for piece of mind
Yeah, way tooo many factors that than throw those numbers out of wack..The only way to get an answer as far as HCV, is to have a PCR done..
not that this is your issue, but I know body building can do it, especially if it's been a long time or your new to it, and I would imagine, too much of any one thing youre trying can send those suckers out of whack...my girlfriend, who does not have hcv, had them go sky high and they gave her all these tests, well, she was going through a nasty divorce...after she calmed down, they calmed down...but of course, these are all speculations, get all the appropriate tests for sure...
I started Bodybuilding and take whey protein
