My husband just received the news that he has hep C. Now, some articles that I have read, say you can contact this through sex. I read that people who have had frequent intercourse with a person infected with Hep c is at risk. They said, it's thought to be low risk but never-the-less risky. They also said, to be really safe, you should always use condoms. Well, we have been married for a while, and don't use condoms. I thought that is why you have all the blood testing done before you get married. Also, I should add myself and husband are more conservative people (not to offend anyone) so we don't do all the things that they consider to be risky behavior (i.e oral and anal sex). Some literature say that it is spead the sex and some say that it isn't. I don't know what to believe.
Also, I found this information on Hep C on the internet at http://
I would like to know what to believe and should I go get tested myself. Please any information would be helpful. Thanks.
