sofosbuvir - trials
hi everyone, i'm Cassy from. italy, i'm 38 and hcv 1a since 22 years; i've never tried to cure this because of a allergy to interferon;at the moment in italy there are only 2 hospitals where you can ask for interferon- free but it's very hard to enter it..how is the situation in yours country?? thank you and forgive my awful english. whew-hooo, great news Cassy! I have heard great things about these new meds! My husband is in the process of getting into a different trial, here in San Francisco, California...one by Abbott :D
thank you guys i'm really excited!!! i went to the hospital this morning and the doctot gave me the drugs: a single pill combination ( sofosbuvir +ledispavir) and ribavirin ( 5 a day) this treatment should last 12 weeks ( until july).
for XANN: i'll try to ask the doctor if it is possible to open the trials to foreign people. i think it depends on Gilead..they don't care if you are french or spanish..the most important thing is living in the country near the hospital..because every week you have to go bach to the hospital in order to do bood tests, cardiogram and so on...but are you french?

Don't worry the side effects are doable with these meds and you are young and healthy.

Hi! I'm very glad for you! I'm sure you will be cured, sofosbuvir is really good. Could you ask your doctor if it is possible to participate in the trials for the foreigner. If is it possible to participate for one spaniard or frenchman in Italy or for one Italien in USA for instance.
hi everyone!!!!the doctor called me back this morning and he told that i'm going to start tomorrow !! i asked him if he knew how long the treatment would last but he answered that he didn't know yet..and he told me that tomorrow we'll go to discover it together..i'm crazy i'm scared but i'm happy!!thank you for your support!!!kisses Cassy
