what does liver biopsy dx mean

i had labs done that confirmed hep c, and recently had a liver biopsy done. the results read" Diagnosis; minimal chronic triaditis" "Chronic hepatitis is not seen , the liver needle biopsies are near normal except for minimal chronic inflammation withi portal areas. there is no periportal extension of the inflammation and no fibrosis, confrimed with trichrome stain. bile ducts are intact. no necrotic hepatocytes are identified. the is no stainable iron with prussian blue stain. there is no fatty change"

It means liver biopsy diagnosis, and yours looks like you can wait for a few years to tx if you want to.  I'm guessing it didn't mention stage or grade, but it doesn't matter as you have minimal fibrosis and minimal inflamation (inflammation).  good luck
