Looking forward to you having better days. Yeah to no more pills and shots!!

I feel so much better already from just not taking a shot this week and no riba for two days. I think as Flcyclistbsays, the relief of just knowing I don't have to have any more shots and dont have to take anything but fish oil and hair vitamins is a huge boost! I am still very tired and the drive to do things which has returned to my mind has not hit my body yet. I decide I want to get something done and am finding I have to do it in segments because I wear out so easily. But reading what others have said, I am looking forward to returning to my energy level Pre-treatment!
And you will be right there with me....just a week later ;)
Can't wait until you get to post EOT too!
Congratulations! So many encouraging posts this week. Best wishes on your return to better than normal in record time...On to SVR....
This is Good NewsFriday!!!
Wonderful news.

Congratulations, you're almost there.
I would agree with flcy absolutely.
Actually I felt so exhausted after stopping simply because I felt like I didn't have to fight anymore. Then I had a few post tx side effects that came and went.
And at times, it would suddenly hit me, " I haven't taken a nap in weeks !" or some other such realization.
Even the other day, I thought ,'wow my only problem is finding a pair of sandals that fit' not the multitude of physical annoyances of tx.
i felt the worse the last 2 weeks of tx. now it's been 4 weeks since EOT and i'm feeling much better. my hgb is up to 12 now. good luck. belle
I know it takes a few months to feel better, but does it at least not get any worse after you stop?

For me, knowing it was the last shot was a huge relief. I continued Riba for an additional 6 days until eot. Once the Riba stopped I began to feel a little bit better each day and noticed some improvement in breathing and fatigue. By the end of one month is was very noticable and the ANC and Hgb were finally back in range. After the 2nd month felt much better, fatigue barely noticable, spending very little time crashing on the couch, skin returning to normal. After month 3 eot feeling fine, doing the jig, dancing in the corn field. lol.
type 2 B
fibrosis 0/1 inflamation 1/2
Treatment naive.
Tx - Peg/Rib for 24 weeks
VL - 2.4 million
UND at week 4,8, 12
HGB never got below 10.8
ABS Neutrophils have been between .5 and .7 since week 2 of treatment.
Can you fill me in on your histroy a little. I have you on my chart with no details except that you were UND W8.
Did you do INC? Were you tx naive? What was your starting VL? What were the results of your vl tests? Were you anemic and if so what was done for it?
Thanks
How glorious. How nice it will be not to watch for pill time and take shots. I lift my virtual Corona in a toast to you.
