Wow Larry. Just the read I needed. Very encouraging. So very very very happy that you made it.....all the way!
I think I felt better right away because I was very proud of the fact that I had actually made the 24 wks. I did not physically feel better right away, but I didnt care. Tx was not real easy and I like a lot of people wrestled with how long I could go on with it. I had promised myself, my wife and many others, I would be able to do it as this was my second try. Within about 2 weeks post I thought I could start to carry on like I did before tx....lol. My wife and I went for a walk around a lake by our house, and I got so sore I could hardly sit down. I felt like a lion, but tx had made me a lamb...hah. So I felt good within a couple weeks, but had to build my stamina. As my blood returned to normal, and the meds wore off, all in all it was 4 months before I returned to work. Not by choice!! I work construction and it was winter. I could have gone back sooner, but the economy... I can tell you for sure that I have absolutely no side effects now!!!! And I have been weight training for 7 weeks, and am in as good physical condition as I have been at any point in my life, probably better without hep. I am very happy I hung in there with tx, and you will be too!!
Good Luck, and God Bless!!
Larry
