Our Pied Piper, our Gibran. Thanx Mr. Eric. Nice of you to check on your flock - haha You are my inspiration. I am so grateful to you. My/our hero and still waiting for your meanderings in the book!!! (Teleprevir should have given you a percentage - I guess SVR is enough.) Will you share what your plans might be for 2012? Regards to your beautiful wife. L
Happy holidays my friend! Hope you are doing well!!!!
And happy holidays to everyone else here xxxxx
Well thanks for all the good wishes. My plans for 2012 are to continue my piano lessons and start to write the book I have been talking about.
I bought a piano and started lessons this past October. I have always thought Bach was the greatest composer that ever lived. Now that I am playing one of his pieces (badly), I have an ever greater appreciation for his genius.
When I first started learning the piece, one pair of notes sounded discordant, so I thought I must be making a mistake. I asked my teacher and she said no that was what he intended - play the next pair of notes. She explained that he introduced the chord with a discordant sound and then followed it with glorious harmony and that is his genius.
Marcia: great to see you here. I hope all is well!!!!
and a Merry Christmas to you Eric...pro
Merry Xmas to all!! Gotta run, my wife is yelling up a storm. I'm running late and I've pushed the envelope too far.lol Glad to hear from you Eric!!
Happy Merry Christmas , good health and an end to the little hep viruses everywhere.
Eric, how good to see you checking in. Merry Christmas to you. How great that you are still expanding your horizons. I think we all have those things we want to do more but instead just do what we have always done. Maybe if I shut off the TV........
Treatment is treatment but there are lots of UNDs. Those that started in May and June when the PIs hit the pavement are just now getting to the end of their 24 or 28 weeks. Hopefully they will all check back to let us know that they have achieved SVR.
Merry Christmas

So good to see your post, Eric! We're taking those well wishes for SVR pretty serious these days at my house.
Congrats on the piano lessons. Sounds like fun!
Wishing you and your lovely wife all the best for a happy healthy New Year!
Always,
Isobella
All is great Eric.
Funny... I started taking piano lessons too. :-) Not classical though.
My son Mike is teaching me. He is a great teacher!
Are you enjoying the lessons? You have a lot of music in your family as do I.
Happy New Year!!
Just wanted to say Happy New Year to this wonderful group of people who have come into my life through this forum. I check in everyday since I discovered from a liver biopsy that I am stage 2/3. The information I have thus far been preview to has been invaluable. You all will be hearing from this newbea in 2012.
Thank you all.

Ok...I've been thinking about this since I first read this thread. I have offered my living room as a "storage unit" for my friend's grand piano. There it sits.....for about a year now. Sounds like if I want to keep up with you two, I'm due for lessons.
Part of my New Year's Rez: Piano lessons. We'll have to have a skype jam session.
Wishing you both the best!!!
Isobella
Go Izzy. I guarantee you will enjoy the lessons.
Me too. It's great fun. And I like the Skype jam session idea, but I'm still far from jamming :-(
No prob...Marcia, just skype with some amazing musicians in the background. Either that, or we'll both play "chopsticks" to Eric's Bach......
Good to see ya!!!
