Last injection on Friday of 72...

YES the end is nearing....last injection is on Friday then 1 week of the copeg then done!!!!!!!!!
This has been one heck of a ride and I am hoping I remain svr....I have 3 extra injections of the interferon alpha 2a..180 mcg and a bottle of  the copegs left...what are we to do with the extra meds???
If anyone in need let me know they are yours for the taking....
I go for bloodwork next monday and pcr...how long should I wait to have other meds adjusted??
I take a few to tx the sx's and wonder if I will need to continue?
I just can't believe I made it this far...
I want to thank all of you great folks in here for all the support,information,blessings..if I didn't stumble onto this web site I would not have made it...YOU ALL ARE A GREAT BUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rgding riba...I just realised I am low on them and going to visit family in NY supposedly on Tuesday. I don't think I can get a shipment in time. I am in West CHester., PA.... If we could work something out that would be great. It would be nice talkin' with you too.

I AM DONE !!!!!!!!!!!! last injection of 72 weeks.....what a long and hard ride but hoping for the best. I have 1 week of copeg to take then DONE!!!!!!!!!! I hope all of us can obtain our goal of SVR...I am hoping for a quick and easy recovery...
I will keep posting and let all know if this extended tx was successful...

My guess is an opportunistic bug has taken up residence. It will likely pass soon enogh. Keep up with plenty of water. You'll be fit in no time.

yes, I am not supposed to be in the sun much but with the two animals I tend to go out a bit more than I should..have a nice tan but not on purpose...it only makes the rash much worse...Hope you feel better too...get some sleep if you can...hugs :) shelly

Yup, took me out of work today also.
Headache started yesterday and has not let up at all. All the shades are drawn because of the sun light makes me unbalanced and sick to stomach on top of feeling like ****. The strangest thing tho it seems like it is a two week cycle with me but has not been this bad. Anyway hope you feel better on the other side.

I read my post and think..that was a good day...what happened???
I feel like absolute S*it !!!!  today....I just got finished with antibiotics few days ago and wake up today with a freakin pounder of a headache,fever,rash is H*ll!!!!, sore throat,coughing,runny nose, no energy at all...I know I need bloodwork done but it will wait till monday...Would my counts being down do this??? My platlets were down last time as well as my rbc's but not by alot...I think my platlets were 138,000?? anyway, I am feeling so crappy and bluesy today...Would my tyroid do this?? still lingering at 0.01...sorry to be a downer....I hate down days...today when I post I seem AS IF I'M UNHINGED!!! Brain fog is real bad

You have really been in my thoughts lately...how are you doing??  I want to let you know that many times I felt like throwing in the  towel....even went as far as throwing my meds in the trash...then thinking , hey, what am doing??? I need to finish this for my own peace of mind...I want to know I did all that I could even if I fail this tx....because then I can say well I gave it my best and sometimes your best isn't good enough..but thats okay....I have had many hard times on this tx..especially when its so fre*kin long...and I am sure will have hard times ahead as well...but I know no matter what that I am okay...and thats what matters.....
as for my move I have run into money issues but will overcome them, my ltd sent my check to wrong address so hadto wait 10 days to get it..so all was late...better late then not at all...My friend is having extreme difficulty with her spouse of late so she has been depending on me alot, she has 3 younger kids...I am there for her but it is hard, her hubby just dx with hcv and he is a drunk ( mean one) and I am trying to advise her but have my own issues as well...txing really makes you look at others and wonder what is really going on in their minds....They have no IDEA what tx is like...its kind of like you don't look sick,therefore your not...sometimes I think to myself, lets slip them some ribas and interferon and see how they feel!!  I wouldn't wish this on anyone, really...
HANG IN THERE...life is to short to stress about material things...enjoy each day for what it is..hugs :) shelly

What a great thing to be in the home stretch of this 72 week ordeal. I hope that soon after stopping all your meds, you rapidly begin feeling like a real person again. I greatly admire your dedication through it all (and as a fellow 72-weeker I know what it all is!!)
