Are these starting herpes symptoms?
So on may 21st i had unprotected sex with a girl, i felt fine the day after on sunday but then on saturday i noticed i had a pain in urethra, i have horrible anxiety i always have and i know that this has happened to me before in the past when i freak out and my symptoms get stronger, but its all in my head. my penis has been a little dry which is slightly odd, and my burning seemed quite a bit worse today then normal. it does not hurt when i pee, there have been a couple red bumps but i usually get those from time to time and they go away in a couple days unless i pick at them. my question is are these signs of an std, herpes especially? I do realize my anxiety plays a big roll. Ive had anxiety/ptsd for 4 years.So am i just freaking myself out or is there a bigger problem at hand.
Your symptoms are not hsv related. You can get flu like symptoms at the same time lesions appear. Itching is not a concern by itself.
I should add there is some slight iching but that could be my anxiety playing tricks on me. I also have been a little sick. I know you get sick thru your first outbreak.
These do not sound like hsv symptoms at all.If you get discharge or the feeling stays/worsens then I would test for bbacterial std's. Again this does not sound like hsv at all
