The towel used to cover my penis when taking X-ray

Hi doctors,
I have a question regarding towel.
On 3 of July 23 , I had a X-ray on my thigh due to injury in a hospital, on that day I didn’t wear underpants so the nurse used the towel (it looked dry but I didn’t know whether it was clean or not) to cover my penis while taking X-ray on my thigh

After that I feel itching and tingling on my scrotum and area around my penis until now
May I ask that can I contract herpes if the towel had fluid on it and then the towel touched my penis area?
And usually how long does it take to show symptoms when contracting herpes?
Thank you and sorry for my English incompetence

No. There is zero chance of getting herpes through a towel. During a towel during an x ray.  During a towel ever.  No risk for that at all.

Thank you sir. Really appreciate. Assume that the towel had fluid containing HSV of previous patient, and then after 2-3 minutes I used that towel and it touched my penis area during X-ray process, is it possible herpes still lived on the towel and then transmit?
This was answered. NO risk really means no risk. So, no.  I think your best bet is to speak to your doctor about an anxiety disorder that has been exhibited in all of your posts on the site.  That's a treatable illness.
Because I feel itching and tingling after that day so I’m worried sir. Why some people say that herpes can be transmitted through towel sir?  That really makes me confused
It's not a risk and there will be no more answers.  Your anxiety is a bit out of control. It's not confusing. You have to have a risk for something to happen. You can't get herpes from a towel, sir.  Talk to your doctor about anxiety.
Okie thank you sir. I may do as you say.
