bump under skin and burning

The area around the outside of my vagina has a burning feeling. I also noticed I have a bump under the skin on the outside skin of my vagina that is painful to the touch. I took a uti at home test and part of the strip tested positive but the lower portion of the test did not. I am freaking out that it may be herpes. This is embarrassing but I tried anal for the first time but he placed it back into my vagina so I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it. I get the ones on my face lips but the bump looks nothing like that.

I'm waiting to hear back from the blood test. The bump is inside the skin on the lip of my vagina. It doesn't appear to have a open area like a blister or pimple but it is painful. The doctor said she couldn't take a swab test since there wasn't any fluid coming from it but she said it's possibly herpes

Hi, to confirm if you have herpes you would need to have an IgG type specific blood test. As for your symptoms, they do not appear as a herpes outbreak as herpes are not under the skin bumps but open topical blister type sores or razor type cuts most often. You can have a PCR swab test of the area to see what the cause may be for the burning.
