Did I pass herpes on to my wife

So here is my story. 6 weeks ago today I performed unprotected cunnulingus and had protected vagina sex with a CSW. The last 6 weeks have been miserable. I was negative for HIV at 31 days with a duo test. Negative for syphilis and gonerea and chlaymidia.  After reading and posting on this site I realized my one time exposure was very low risk. I actually started to feel better until last night my wife showed me what looked like a big black head zit on the back of her thigh about 6 inches below her butt. I am terrified I gave her herpes!! I have had zero symptoms for 6 weeks but check constantly. We did have protected sex once 3 weeks ago. I also performed oral on her briefly. It was very brief and there wasn't much skin to skin contact. Is this bump/zit she has herpes? I am sick to my stomach about this and can't believe I did such a stupid selfish act that has put her at risk. Please help with any knowledge on herpes. Thanks!

Thanks again. I think my anxiety and guilt are just convincing me something should go wrong due to me being unfaithful. I will try to move past this and not repeat mistakes.

Thanks for responding. I know my guilt is a big reason why I am so nervous about everything. From what I read is that if I would contracted herpes from the exposure I probably would of had symptoms or outbreak by now. Do you have any statical numbers of how many people have their first outbreak after 6 weeks from exposure?

Hi and welcome. First of all contracting herpes from a one time affair, using a condom and her not having any lip or vaginal sores at the time is next to zero. Also if your wife did contract herpes from you any outbreak would be at point of contact like her vaginal area not her thigh. On the other hand, only testing would confirm both of your herpes status.
Herpes sores are not big black head under the skin bumps but open topical clear liquid filled blisters or razor type cuts.
Does it appear that your wife is having a recent infection from herpes outbreak? No it does not.
