Lets start by saying that if you shaved up some herpes and he immediatly grabbed the razor and started shaving his chest, and did not use any shave cream or soap, there maybe the slighest chance it could be passed. But if the razor sat a while, then not possible. Also herpes does not appear all over the place at one time like your suggesting. The only type of herpes that is somewhat common to what your describing is Shingles but this would be very painful.
I would strongly suggest having a swab of any new sores and test for herpes to rule this out or a PCR test perform to determine what they are but bottom line i would not at all feel its herpes connected.
Would a bacterial infection cause blisters? Because he most definently has blisters. One popped up by his nipple. He does have them also on his stomach, and below. On his thighs/butt and like i said earlier even on his knees. They generally do start out as a blister then they r open sores then appears to scab over. Which describes everything Ive read about herpes. I had used his razor around the timeframe he started noticing all this. R u saying its absolutely not possible for him to have contracted it this way? Also, he has been taking 400mg 3 times a day since may 5 and have only noticed that his chest cleared up. It is on his stomach so his pants rub constantly. If this does turn out to be herpes what r the chances of that clearly up with all that friction? I realize thats a ton of questions and i appreciate u taking the time to answer
Hi, Grace pops in and out but ill try to help.
First of all herpes is not transferred. Those with genital herpes it starts by the virus travelling up from the base of the spine and can appear anywhere below the waist. Sometime those with herpes do have outbreaks called recurrant and can appear anywhere in the box short area. But most often outbreaks always occur in the same spot give or take an inch and most often is on the penis shaft of pubic mound area. New infections outbreak at point of contact.
This goes the same with oral herpes. Can appear anywhere from the breast up but the lips are the most common.
Only testing would confirm if he has herpes but what your describing does not at all appear as herpes but possible connected to shaving and picking and is now bacterial.
