Do I have herpes or a complicated yeast infection?
I am a 19 year old college student and in August of this year I had sex with a guy on probably 3 different occassions unprotected. I don't know him that well and we dont really speak anymore because I left for school. For a little while after having sex with him I experienced a lot of itching around my vagina, some discomft while peeing, and abnormal discahge but eventually the symptoms subsided but never fully went away. It is now october and all those systoms are back but I also have very painful sores/blisters that appeard about 3 days ago. I am getting very worried that it might be herpes because I know the guy I was with had a lot of previous sexual partners. When I researched though it said that herpes symptoms usually occur within 20 days of infection and it has been almost 2 months since we last had sex. I have also reasearched that these can be symptoms of a complicated yeast infection. I went to the doctor to get tested but I have been so incredibily anxious waiting for the results so I decided to post on this forum. If anyone has any ideas what this might be please let me know!
What tests were performed? Unfortunately all you can do is wait for the results
