Have you followed up on it with a dermatologist?

howdy,
been 5 months now, still having some weird things happening.the std clinic(august)never did the igG test i asked for but negative for everything else(usual std's).
i havnt had a usual outbreak since july, the odd bump i originaly posted about is barely there anymore,i have also been having some minor blood clot type looking discoloration in the skin(circumsition area) that varies,it sometimes looks almost completely gone, but then it vaugly reapears during the corse of the day on and off. overall its slowly disappearing.in the past 3 months i have tryd zovirax, teatree oil and various remedies to no avail.i have consulted several doc's that all say"come back if/when lesions appear, and we''l swab it"no doc' here will rely on igG test...its obviously not hsv as its persisted this long.every time iv been to doc' these odd blemish things are rather vauge compared to what they are at other times, they say its nothing to panic about.
im baffeled! i've had all the typical hsv2 symptoms, lesions and reccurances and they have dissappeared all of a sudden, except for these other strange things.
crazy i may be(coming) just cant seem to get a diagnosis.
I think perhaps you need to stop thinking of it as just being a herpes ob. Obviously since it's lasted this long and seems so different from previous ob's , if it ever was a herpes recurrence, it's further complicated by something else now at this point.

yes,you are right again, and i am definatly over doing it a bit.
just stuck on how "loading up"on lysine(here i go again)amino acids could if it has had a effect in some way.i realize its not scientificly proven to do anything.but there is some thing very strange goin on with this o.b.
possibly i thought due to that ,what i may have may not be viral.
damn its frustrating waiting for test results.
veins are normal. You can also have something called lymphoceles that are also completely normal. I think you are just paying a little too much attention to your penis lately my dear ;)
Scabies itches like you've never itched before and it doesn't let up. this doesn't sound like scabies from any of your descriptions. Also you'd probably have it more so on the pubic hair area than the head of the penis and it would've probably spread by now too after 5 weeks.

*continued post*
maby this could be scabies?
its hard to believe that it has stayed in the same area for over 3 years,or coincidently returned in the same place.
is it possible for scabies to hide under skin for up to 6 mounths,or rather not cause irritation/pimple like sores.
in my case the recurrance of sores is typicly hsv2
i realize they can be easily retransmited from clothing etc.
maby this could explain lysine thing.
mm,interesting ,on further general investigation on various other std and non std problems.i.e.scabies.
i have concern for one tiny black dot(like blackhead)that has been under head/edge of penis for approx same time as first o.b.s,(it wont pop or change when sqeezed).also have alot of very thin vien like "vien-thingies"on shaft.they do look different in colour(some dark purple some red some even light greyish) than usual viens on penis.they sorta seem to be random and go allover the place.(zig-zag maby).only realy noticable when stretching skin.
i dont know how long they have been there or if these have changed or appeared .
i thought alot of viens in penis was normal.
if it washes off then it certainly isn't due to herpes.
if your regular doctor isn't able to figure out what is going on then consult a dermatologist. it's doubtful this is a std though.

yes definatly! i am waiting for various std tests results,my doc has no idea what it is yet.(and wouldnt speculate too much)
i am hoping to find some information (possiblitys)more so to make sure i dont miss anything at next consultation with doctor next week.
5 weeks is too long - you need to follow up with your doctor to see what is causing this.
Aj
"7-10 days"thats my thought too.i do belive you are correct.
this o.b. is similar to earlier ones, but is very mild and very prolonged.
it is still happening5 weeks?!? ,1-2 minor sore/pimple healed(scabed)at least a week ago but they havent gone(small red lump/dot)another small pimple like "thing"comes and goes but hasnt"popped".looking very closly latley have been noticing in some angles of bright light what looks(sortof)like tiny dots of sweat(i dont wear underwear)in circumsision area,it washes off very easily with water, there is still some minor patches of swelling that seems to go up and down.also there is some dicolouration(slighty darkish purple)in some areas around underneath/edge of head of penis with what could besome very slight swelling.i have never noticed these last 2 syptoms before.
everything else seems like a usual outbreak but this time it is very minor and prolonged .
its extremly unlikly i could have got another std.
also keep in mind - even if you do have hsv2, that doesn't mean that everything that goes on in the genital area is due to herpes too. this could be many things.
fyi - lesions would've totally healed on their own within 7-10 days or less even without lysine so I"m not sure that lysine has been helping to heal as much as you think it is.

my doc could not do cultere test as lastest outbreak was so small and drying up.
lysine has seemed interfer somehow, this has never happened before(less severe, but prolonged)much rather a short mildish(7-10day) outbreak than a very minor one that lasts 5 weeks or more.(still some blemishes)
i am awaiting blood tests and various others,i persificly noted to doc im sure its hsv2.
so they will do all the right tests.
as you said-not much else we can do until test results back
just cant help looking for information in the meanwhile
Did they also do lesion cultures on you or just a blood test?
Lysine doesn't really do much for herpes. None of the studies done on it showed that it was useful for speeding the healing of herpes ob's. Excellent article on this on medscape you can read for free if you are interested.
If you need help with your blood tests just post the numeric values here - ie hsv1 igg 4. 9 and hsv2 igg 3. 1 or whatever they are. Not too much else we can do until you get test results back.

correction; i would describe the sores to be more puss like than watery and not in "clusters"
