HSV2 likelihood

A little concerned here. I was with a man and we were both naked. He was on top of me lightly brushing his penis against my vaginal area, we weren't like grinding really. He was starting to push inside me and I stopped him. Later, he revealed that he has genital herpes. I did not see any signs that day and he said he had not had an outbreak for years. What are the chances of me getting it from this and when should I get tested??

Yes I have had high anxiety about STDs before. Also, would the guy with herpes giving me cunnilingus be a risk?

sounds like your anxiety about that encounter is getting the better of you more than anything.

have you and your new partner talked about std's and testing yet? it's something you should be talking about with every partner before being intimate.

I am scared out of my mind because I have been having a tingling sensation in my vagina, butt, hands, feet, calf's, back of thighs and even sometimes on the of head... I don't see any blister or bumps but I know that you can not have outbreaks... Does this mean I have Herpes... I have been worrying about this for months.. Can u please give me some advice.

this is very low risk. I don't recommend any testing.

are you still seeing this man?
