Herpes, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, UTI?

I have been stressing up and down the past week due to a number of symptoms and would really like some peace of mind!

I was having protected sex on Friday 15 December which eventually turned into unprotected sex (apprently alcohol dissolves condoms!). This includes oral sex. I was fine all of Saturday, however, I was fairly hungover so towards the end of the day I had about 1.5L of water. I was urinating normally, but went to sleep from about 7-8 until 8-9 the next morning without getting up to urinate. When I finally did urinate, I noticed that I didnt quite urinate as much as someone who had just slept for so long after drinking so much. It was from that morning on that I started to notice a mild discomfort in the tip of my penis and some pain in my lower abdomen / bladder.

This discomfort is fairly constant and isnt really painful when I urinate, mostly straight after or just sitting normally. I also experienced a slightly swollen foreskin, which I still have from time to time. Went to my local GP on Monday where he was 'pretty sure' I had some kind of urinary condition. He prescribed a week of URAL to help symptoms and wanted to treat for Chlamydia if symptoms were not gone within a week.

On Tuesday I noticed a strange feeling in my throat. Not quite a 'sore' throat but a somewhat uncomfortable one. Wednesday I began feeling some mild flu-like symptoms (generally around the head, slight fever).

Today (Thursday) the discomfort in my penis is still present, but appears to be getting better (it has its moments, but sometimes I feel nothing). I have some bumps on the very back of my tongue, but I think these are normal - i've just never noticed them before.

I've been really stressed the last few days about this, possible contributing to my symptoms, but I still have a few questions.

Could this be early signs of herpes, as I do not have any lesions yet? (I have noticed some pimples in the genital area but this is not uncommon, I popped one on Tuesday which has since disappeared, was not painful and contained usual puss, I have a red mark at the very top of my pubic hair region, not positive but this might be a mark from a bad pimple I had a few weeks ago.)

Could this by Chlamydia as my doctor suggests, or since the strange throat could it be Gonorrhea?

Is this likely a simple UTI?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

doesn't really sound like it's herpes.

be sure to get your prostate checked out if it doesn't get better. No matter what your age, you can still get prostate infections too.

clean is when you shower regularly.  odds are you haven't been getting full std testing. typically herpes isn't included in it either. definitely ask to see what testing you've been getting and if herpes isn't a part of it, be sure to cover that base too in  a few months to see what your status is. you can't protect yourself and future partners unless you are getting properly tested and know who has what.

I'm confused - this has all been going on since december or you last had sex in december and this all just started this week?

I plan to get tested more extensively, however I have a number of important events coming up and simply do not have the time apart from typing on a computer to ask these questions. Just looking for some peace of mind before facing the next week. Thanks.

Only lab test tell you the truth. Don't assume by yourself and visual diagnose. You may take all STD test inculed UTI. Do you aware of window period?

Hey, thanks for the reply,

Havnt taken any tests yet and I dont have kidney stones to my knowledge.

Doc seemed fairly confident that if it wasnt a simple infection which went after a week, that it was Chlamydia and that he wouldnt test for it, but simply treat for it. I should mention that I only verbally described my symptoms before the flu symptoms started and that is what he was going off.

Only worry I have now are these flu-like symptoms which have occured since - this and the incubation time (only 24-36 hours before discomfort in penis) is making me lean towards Gonorrhea.

Hi
Have taken any test(urine/blood)? Its doesn't sound like early herpes symptoms but we can't assume! It may be UTI. Do have kidney stone?
