general questions about symptoms of virus

1. What are the similarities/differences between lesions on lips and genitals? I have read that genital herpes presents as fluid filled blisters that are usually painful.
2. Can herpes present as a spot in the hair above the penis in the pubic hair. Red and painless, just like any other spot.
3. I have such a spot. Had it about 10 days. Not had intercourse for a year. Spot is fading,no fluid,no pain. I believe I have HSV1 as I get cold sores on lip occasionally. But can feel it to the touch, unlike the one in the groin. Never had any groin symptoms before
Thanks in anticipation for any comments.

I won't get into all tbe particulars but your bump is not hsv. Hsv lesions progress quickly from spot to fluid filled blister type lesions.
