Herpes? Help please

Hi, I been having swollen lymph nodes in my groin area. It is tender to touch and as a small bump near it. The bump itself doesn't hurt at all though. I haven't been sexual activity in months due to me pregnant .

However 6 months ago before I knew I was pregnant, I had some kind of outbreak, which my doctor keep giving me false diagnosis. A week after I had sex I woke a really itchy in my private area. I have shaved the day before and develop what had look to be razor bumps. A few days later I develop a solid hard bump on my outer labia about a size of nickel. It did not hurt or itch in that area. It actually went away in a few days while my other bumps stayed. A week after they itching and razor bumps I develop some vaginal discharge. I finally went to my doctor and he diagnosis me with having a yeast infection and confirm pregnancy.

3 months had past and I was still experience discharge, a few the bumps were still there, and I still itched plenty. My OB Doctor finally ran more STD test and diagnosis with having Chlamydia. It was strange because my previous doctor test me for that and it came back negative. They gave me medicine 2 months ago and everything was fine besides the normal discharge of pregnancy.

However yesterday I woke up with swollen lymph nodes in groin area and bump near it as explained early. Does this sounds like herpes? Also I noticed a bump around my anus. Unfortunately I wont be able to see my doctor until the 8th of December.

The bumps resemble ingrown hairs, but doesn't hurt like ingrown hairs. They were the color of my skin(brown) and it wasn't red in the area. They were spread apart for most point but I did had a few within inches of each other.

your symptoms do not sound like herpes going on.

Since you are 6+ months pregnant, unfortunately herpes igg blood testing is sometimes falsely negative. If you decide to test for herpes with blood testing now, make sure that your partner also tests to give you a better idea of if you could possibly having herpes or not.

Pregnancy does lots of odds things to us as well as lowers our immune systems. Just swollen nodes doesn't mean anything is going on.

Are you seeing a counselor at all? You have a lot of life stress right now and sometimes it really helps to talk to a professional :)

Thanks. I just have this really bad feeling that it is. It was already hard enough to found I was pregnant then to know I had Chlamydia. I don't know how Im going to deal with this if I do have it and the fact I decided to give my baby for adoption. Having a very tough time right now, but thanks for answering.

I do not believe this sounds like genital herpes.

Given you are pregnant a doctor may consider testing you (IgG blood test) with careful interpretation of results.

If you do happen to have genital herpes, this is no cause for concern and your baby can be protected with appropriate steps.
