Herpes Type 2??

I've noticed 3 small white bumps on my penis shaft (one at the top side and two on the underside)...I figured they were pimples or inflamed fordyce spots...they itch a little bit but did not hurt at all. I was able to pop one (top side one) and a bit of clear fluid came out...it is healing and just formed a sort of white head, not an ulcer or anything. I went to my GP and she said she thinks it's herpes but saw no reason to swab it because I have hsv1 from coldsores as a child. She took a quick look and didn't really examine it, she just said "hair doesn't usually grow in those places"...I also showed my Mother and she said that she doesn't think it's herpes, and honestly, neither do I. They do NOT hurt AT ALL and itch a bit, but nothing drastic. They've been there for about a week and haven't blisters or popped or sored up or anything. I'm planning on going to my local clinic tomorrow morning because I figured the doctor there would have more experience with STD's than my GP...I was just hoping for some insight on here. Thank you and God Bless<3

we don't look at pictures here. why not is explained in our read before posting post on this forum and also the std forum where you have also tried to post pictures.

it's too late for lesion cultures to be done at this point so no easy way to determine if these really are herpes at this point or not. when was the last time you had sex or received oral sex prior to these appearing?  do you have a regular partner?

Is there any way I can possibly email either of you pictures of what I have and you can have a look for yourself? I know neither are medical professionals.

I think your Mom's and your gut instinct are right on - and your medical provider was very wrong to diagnose without proper testing. Other things like bacterial and fungal infections can mimic herpes, as can good old pimples.

Are you sexually active that herpes is even potentially a possibility?  But yes, be seen by someone who will swab the area if you're concerned.

Going to a STD clinic is certainly the best approach. Your GP is clearly outdated when it comes to herpes diagnosis - she should have swabbed it to confirm it.
