What is this ?

A couple of days ago I noticed a red irritated area at the base of my penis. There were two pimple like structures that seemed to be fused and another one close by. All three had puss coming out if I squeezed them but they didn't hurt, itch, or burn at all they're just there. I hope it's not herpes but I don't have any symptoms like the pain, fever or swollen lymph nodes. I haven't been with anyone that I was suspected of having the virus. So what is this ? They don't even look like blisters

Well one of the pimples is still red and the other two dried up and now look like they're healing but there's some type of white substance around them. I wish I could upload pictures

That can be the case with HSV2 but for some reasons, including that many people have oral HSV1, a HSV2 initial outbreak can be very mild.

In any event you are not describing something that sounds like herpes.

It does seem that a first infection of HSV1 causes plenty of sores and associated issues and pains with those sores.

Also isn't the initial outbreak extremely painful ?

If it is pus like pimple pus, a white and thickish creamy like substance, then this isn't herpes.
