Herpes while having a cold?
Hi Ive been living with herpes for about six months now and I take valtrex daily. This is my first cold I have had while having genital herpes. I noticed a bit of tingling in my penis and frequent non painful urination. I was wondering if this was a possible small outbreak or anybody else has experiened this thank you?
you can try upping your valtrex to 500mg 2/day for 3 days and see if that helps. If it continues for longer than a week or gets worse, see your provider for a proper work up.
