Is it possible?

Hey doc,

I was dating a woman recently who disclosed to me that she has genital herpes.  We we amorous with each other (kissing, cuddling) but didn't have sex.  I did briefly touch her vagina at one point and am a little worried that I could have been exposed at that time.

She takes medication daily and has told me that she has not had an outbreak for over a year, but I'm still a little concerned.

Is it even possible that I could have contracted something, or am i worrying over nothing?

Also, I've had two small rashes on either side of a large cut on my knee which look like herpes rashes but which a doctor yesterday diagnosed as cellulitis.  Is there any way to have herpes out break on my knee?  is there any way the cellulitis was mis-diagnosed?

Thanks!

We're not the doctors. You have to pay for the professional consult at the other forum. Sorry. It's just us toothless yokels on this side.

You were not at risk for herpes. You'd best start reading up on it though, because you are horribly uninformed about it.
