Is this pain normal?

I am being treated for herpes and starting yesterday my lower back hurt and i thought it was because i spent the last week waddling due to the pain from the virus. I'm still feeling pain in my lower back, legs and feet. The pain comes and goes. My doctor gave me Percs for pain on friday (for the virus) and it doesnt seem to be doing much for my back.

Is this pain normal? The pain in my legs and feet feels like nerve pain but im not sure what the pain in my back feels like.

What type of herpes do you have?

Your back maybe sore because of your waddling.  Work with your provider to see if they can offer any relive for the back it could be a muscle deal.  Have you tried taking advil or tynenol?
