Location and timing experiences anyone?

I had protected sex with two people I didn't know well. One about a month ago, the other just 4 days ago Friday night.
This is a repost from the expert forum. I am curious to hear from personal experiences. Has anyone experienced mild initial outbreaks in the pubic hair region that went away within 4 days? Certain internet sites go with the vague "initial outbreaks can be so mild that they're mistaken for insect bites and misdiagnosed......." Thank you all - please feel free to respond

Less than a day later on Saturday, I noticed several bright red spots, similar to insect bites but not really raised, on my groin area. There are about 10-15 starting an inch above the penis traveling slightly diagonally up to about an inch to the stomach - to the lower left of the belly button. They are close, but I wouldn't describe them as clusters. They are sensitive and very slightly burns when touched or if I think about them... which the thinking partly may be in my head but it is consistent.

I applied some lotion for comfort and they are almost gone... healing to the point where you can tell where they are but they are not as bright.

Thanks for the advice. The only thing is that I have read that I should wait 3 months before an igg test?

Herpes would not appear that soon after exposure, what concerns me here is that this may be a recurrence from being previously infected .....
From what you describe it doesn't sound very typically Herpes but it would do no harm to get tested if only to rule it out and stop your mind from working overtime.
