Not sure if i have herpes

Hi,

I'm a virgin and had oral sex for the first time last week.  I'm a male and my partner performed oral sex on me.  she assures me she's been tested for stds and she does not have herpes (though i know that oftentime people don't know that they have herpes).  I felt fine at first, but two or thre days after we had oral sex, i looked online at std information.  ever since i saw info about herpes, i feel like my testicle and penis are itching and every now and then there is a slight pain at the tip of my penis.  i don't know if this is just me being paranoid because i read about all these diseases or if i really have herpes.

if i do have herpes, how long should the itching last before ulcers and sores begin to show up?  any help would be great, im very scared about this.

the oral sex was unprotected........which i very much regret now. but she didn't have any cold sores and has NO history of herpes

does pain in one testicle have anything to do with herpes? cause now im feeling that too. i just don't know if im panicking and making all this up or if these symptoms mean herpies (herpes).

also, i wanted to go take a herpes test tomorrow....but is that too early since the sex only happened 5-6 days ago?  please help!

Pain in testicles is not a herpes symptom.. My advice is this. STAY AWAY FROM THE INTERNET!!! You do NOT have herpes!! You will be fine. The itch and occasional pain is anxiety driven!!! If she didn't have oral symptoms then you are fine!!! The internet will scare you into you have everything so stay away from there!! Testicle pain could be cancer.. You scared about cancer? Testicle pain could be cancer. What I am saying is symptoms are guidelines and they are very generalized!! You are fine!!! :)

I'm with slacker - you are worrying needlessly.  I wouldn't even bother testing to be honest.

Hey! stop freaking about it or u will attract it in ur life...i used to be as bad as u and freak out about it all the time the way u did...guess what...i attracted it and now I have it! PLEASE don't worry about it and u won't end up like me...law of attraction is a crazy thing!
