Pimple in grown hair or herpes?

I have a single bump on my penis shaft that has showed up. It looks like a zit and wen I popped it some solid puss came out but is still in flamed. It's only painful wen I touch it but not wen I don't touch it. It also doesnt itch. I was blood tested for HIV and hsv and both came back negative. I have not had sex since. I'm a huge hypochondriac so if anyone can offer some incite on  what this may be please feel free to comment.

Thanks again for your response. Since I can't tell if there's a hair in it or not are there any other signs or symptoms that would help be able to tell the difference? And how accurate or blood tests for herpes? I've been tested twice now in the past 6 months both times came back negative.

herpes lesions won't have a hair in them like ingrown hairs do.

thank you for your response grace. ill give a few days and see how it goes. im still freaking out what do u think the possibility of this being herpes? i got tested the monday before thanksgiving and everything was negative. what are ways to tell apart and ingrown hair or pimple from herpes?
