At the moment I am in limbo waiting for enough time to pass so I can get accurate tests. In the mean time I have been treating my self for what I really think I have, fungal infection.
Recently I have had a layer of skin come off my Scrotum like I never had before... I MEAN, some snake skin pealed off the coin purse in sheets.
Now I have heard the phrase Shedding before with HSV. I always thought that meant a blister formed and turned into a scab and pealed off? Am I in the right Park with this?

Viral shedding is when the virus is active but you have no symptoms. So, a person doesn't even know when this is happening, yet the virus can be transmitted.
shedding for herpes is not literal shedding of the skin.
