Sore throat

I tested negative for HSV2 but it was 5 weeks after encounter so it is not conclusive. Is a sore throat and running nose a symptom of HSV2?

As I already said in a prior post - 5 weeks post encounter is too early for the blood test to be accurate when it's negative.

the provider who saw this thought folliculitis. why suspect otherwise?
