Awoke to one side of my mouth burning

Hello I gave oral for the first time to my boyfriend yesterday. All was well until I awoke to a mild burn on the right side of my lips. Its slightly up from my lip... Almost to the corner of that part of my lip. I also had a slight sore throat but as I awoke and got my day started it has now gone away. Could this be oral herpes. Also I have no bumps in that area where it's burning at

Also he has these small white bumps in clusters just under his penis head. He told me that it's part of his skin and been there since birth. I believe him because I've been knowing him for awhile before I decided to give him oral and those bumps were always there. From my knowledge herpes leaves not stays

Herpes would not appear this early following infection and unmistakable sores would emerge.

What you describe sounds very common for men, there are very often little bubbles of fordyce spots or similar, particularly on the underside.
