What is this small bump under my penis shaft?

I recently had protected oral sex from a sex worker. No genital contact whatsoever and the condom was on the whole time. I noticed a small red bump under my penis shaft. It doesn't itch or hurt and I think it could be from masturbating which I did a lot after my encounter. Once without lubricant. Just wondering if it's herpes. Any help would be great. Thanks.

You didn't contract hsv from the protected oral sex. So this either has to be something else or hsv from a differant exposure (not likely).

I got it checked out online with a photo assessment and with my primary care physician in person and both of them said that it didn't look like herpes. It hasn't changed in size or appearance in 8 days so I'm not too sure. Still no symptoms other than the growth itself. I just got a blood test today and should hear from the results in 3 days. I have a dermatologist appointment in 2 1/2 weeks. I'll keep you updated. I just don't want herpes lol.

Don't want to scare you but I read in a book once that someone who had masturbated regularly had developed a kind of bump/lump due to the friction/constant motion and it had gone on to become a cancer. He had died from it. I think you should consult a doctor to be on the safe side.

That's not how cancer works. You don't rub something raw then get cancer. Please keep it relevant.
